I think the use of "blood" in awareness pictures is unnecessary.
It just perpetuates the action.

Self-harm and suicide are already glamorized by our scum-sucking culture and media enough through misrepresentations and misinformation.

Its good to be aware and show support – but don’t perpetuate the action.

Some people are triggered by graphic pictures – and it doesn’t help, it just puts the thought of self-harm into their head.

Oh dear, I never thought of that.
I can't say it was ever images like this that triggered me...

I'm not going to change my stamp; but will keep that in thought.

Hopefully with stamps like this, people will learn to stop joking about cutting and self injury. Because frankly, it isn't funny. I used to joke about it too. Then I grew up and grew into the problem. I'm still fighting it.
